NordTent Warranty

Coverage

This warranty applies to all NordTent tents purchased directly from our website or from an authorized retailer.

Warranty Period

The warranty is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Inspection upon Receipt

We strongly recommend inspecting your tent immediately upon receipt. Any missing parts, transit-related damage, or apparent manufacturing defects must be reported in writing within 7 days of receipt. This allows us to promptly open a file and ensure efficient follow-up with our manufacturer.

What the Warranty Covers

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and problems related to materials or assembly under normal use of the product. When a claim is accepted, NordTent will assess the situation and determine the most appropriate solution, which may include:

  • Replacement of defective parts;

  • Sending replacement components;

  • Repair or any other measure deemed reasonable according to the nature of the problem.

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damages resulting from:

  • Misuse or abuse of the product;

  • Unauthorized modification;

  • Inadequate maintenance;

  • Normal wear and tear;

  • Accidents, negligence, or extreme weather conditions beyond the product's intended use;

  • Wind, storms, snow, ice, hail, falling trees/branches, floods, fires, or any other force majeure event.

Exclusion – Heating Appliances

Damage caused by the use of a wood stove, diesel, propane, electric, or any other heating appliance is not covered by the warranty. The safe installation and use of these appliances are entirely the user's responsibility. Any deterioration of the tent resulting from their use is excluded from this warranty.

Exclusion – Radisson Stove

The Radisson stove is covered only against manufacturing defects found upon receipt. For safety reasons, no returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted for a stove that has been used and installed. Damage resulting from use, improper installation, poor maintenance, or normal wear and tear is not covered by the warranty.

4-Season Use

While NordTent tents are designed for four-season use, it is the user's responsibility to regularly remove any accumulation of snow, ice, or water that may build up on the tent. Damage caused by excessive snow or ice accumulation or overloading the structure is not covered by this warranty.

Claim Processing

NordTent reserves the right to inspect the product or request photographs before approving any warranty claim.

When product return is required, NordTent allows up to 14 business days following receipt of the product to inspect, evaluate, and, if applicable, repair or replace components deemed defective.
